Monnie Wade entered peacefully into her Heavenly home on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 surrounded by family and friends. She was born December 10, 1946 in New Orleans, LA. She was a gifted caregiver and loved caring for her children, grandchildren and friends made through Home Instead and the Chattahoochee Baptist Association Food Bank. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Mary and Roy Wade, husband, Frank Malcomb Glenn, and two daughters, Tanya Lee Shepherd and Marsha Marie Glenn. She is survived by her son Danny Glenn, daughter Barbara Ferralez, eight grandchildren, eleven great- grandchildren and one great- great grandchild. Her Concord Baptist Church family, friends and others whose lives she touched are invited by the family to Strickland Funeral Home, Main Street, Clermont, Ga. 30527 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Friday, February 16, 2018 to reminisce, grieve and support one another followed by celebration of life service at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Dr. Levi Skipper will officiate. In lieu of flowers, Monnie and the family have requested donations be made in her memory to the Chattahoochee Baptist Association Food Bank, 1220 McEver Rd. Gainesville, Ga. 30504.

I am so very sorry for your loss. Please find comfort in God's sure promise of a resurrection as set forth in the Bible. (Acts 24:15; John 5:28,29) Those who are raised to life will have the prospect of never again being subject to misery, sickness, or death. (Revelation 21:4) I hope that reflecting on these thoughts will give you some relief during this difficult time.
