Vandiver Family: We will NEVER be able to convey how much EACH one of you mean to us! Knowing Nonie, and Papa J, is just the icing on the top of our cake known as "life"! Too many memories to recant here, but you are all LOVED beyond words! So very sorry for the earthly passing of Nonie, but we SHALL see her again, and she will be WHOLE! ♡♡♡

Nonie, as I knew her to be called, was a remarkable woman. Although I only saw her at Indian Springs Camp Meeting in the summers, her love for the Lord and others left an indelible print on my heart. Her legacy lives on through her family. God bless you all and be comforted that she suffers no more.

Papa Jay, In the goodness of God's grace, he gifted us with friendship. We did life together!  You and Sue have been a larger than life part our family for more than half a century.  And that joy will be multiplied by millenniums in the eternity we will share.

Loving, supporting, praying,...we have laughed, shouted together, cried, grieved and encouraged. Sue lives still!  We will be joining her soon and fully expect her to welcome us to her condo with that Southern grace that always made us know how much you both love us.

Jack and Diane, life long friends...OUr hearts ache for you all.  When we love much...we grieve much.  What do folks without Christ do at these times?  Our hope, faith and love sustains us.  The Holy Ghost is good.  Comfort he brings is strong.  Even so, we ache...for this brief moment.

We love you all!  Praying still.
Your forever friends,

Steve and Pat

Words cannot express the sadness in my heart when I  read the obituary notice. I want you to know, that Mrs. Vandiver was very kind to me and my 3 girls, when we were tenants of one of their rental properties.   Each time I went up to Murrayville to their house to pay the rent, I felt like I was walking right into heaven.   I have only met 5 people in my entire life that were true examples of God's love.  I am old and terminal now, and I hope to meet Mrs. Vandiver in heaven.  May God continue to bless your family.
