Funeral Services for Carolyn Strickland Patterson, age 81 of Smyrna, Georgia will be held Saturday March 22, 2014 at 2:30 p.m. at Strickland Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be Saturday March 22, 2014 from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home. Interment will be at Alta Vista Cemetery in Gainesville, Georgia. Rev. Fletcher Law will officiate. Mrs. Patterson was a retired office manager and she had worked for SunTrust Bank. She was a member of Smyrna First United Methodist Church. Mrs. Patterson is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Patterson and Frank Strickland Jr. a daughter, Allyson Smith. She is survived by her son and daughter in-law, Frank and Robyn Strickland of Griffin, Glenn Mitchell (Mitch) Strickland, daughter and son in-law Jan and Duane Robertson, nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.Strickland Funeral Home, Clermont, Georgia. 770-983-7351.
