Charles Gower Chandler

Charles Gower Chandler, 91, of Gainesville, Georgia died on Monday, December 29, 2025. A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 3, 2026 at W. R. Strickland & Sons Chapel, Clermont, Georgia. Pastor Kody Rylee and Doug Stephens will officiate the service. Interment will follow the service at Lebanon Methodist Church Cemetery, 3664 Lebanon Church Rd., Gillsville, Georgia. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, January 2, 2026 at the funeral home.

Charles was preceded in death by his wife Doris Louise Chandler and his infant son Cary Chandler.

Charles is survived by his sons Kale Chandler, Kym Chandler (Donna) and Kory Chandler; his grandchildren Mark Chandler (Shannon) and Shannon Hicks (Adam).  

Charles was a longtime member of Timber Ridge Baptist Church and active with the The Gideons International from 1980 to present.  W. R. Strickland & Sons Clermont, GA.
