Dr. Charlie Earle Wheeler

Dr. Charlie Earle Wheeler, 84, of Murrayville, Georgia, died on Thursday, October 31, 2024. A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. at Wahoo Baptist Church on Friday, November 8, 2024. Dr. Mark Wheeler, Dr. Mark Stroud, and Brother Matt Stephens will officiate the service. The family will receive friends at the church on Thursday, November 7, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and Friday, November 8, 2024, from 12:30 p.m. until the funeral hour.

Dr. Wheeler was a farmer, a singer, and an Assistant Fire Chief. He was the director of The Marksmen Quartet of Murrayville, Georgia that originated in 1967.

Dr. Wheeler is preceded in death by his parents Reverend William Marvin Wheeler and Pauline Gilstrap Wheeler. He is survived by his wife Shirley Anderson Wheeler; his son Dr. Mark Wheeler (Joy); his grandchildren Sarah Grace Head (Joseph), Will Wheeler, Cana Lily Wheeler and a host of family and friends. W.
