Dumas Ladd

Funeral services for, Dumas Ladd age 89 of Clermont, will be held at 2:00 p.m Wednesday November 26, 2014 in Concord Baptist Church. Interment will be in the church cemetery.  Mr. Ladd died November 24, 2014 at the Bell Minor Home after an extended illness. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Carrie and John Ladd, and step-mother, Willie Ladd; sister, Bertha Woodruff; brother, Dennis Ladd. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Tommie Turpin Ladd; daughter and son-in-law, Rita and Tom Holmes; niece, Janet Woodruff; nephews, Melvin Woodruff, Donnie Woodruff, and Doug Woodruff, Tommie's niece, Dortha Thompson and special friends Calvin and Linda Martin. Mr. Ladd was member of Concord Baptist Church where he served for many years as treasurer and deacon. He was retired from Jerry Carter Oil Company. Contributions may be made to the Georgia Baptist Children's Home.
