Pauline Griffin, age 91 of Clermont died on October 9, 2018. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, October 15, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Strickland Funeral Home, Clermont, Ga. Reverend Jimmy Ellis will officiate. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, October 14, from 4 to 8 p.m.
Pauline was born on December 22, 1926, to Daniel Franklin Graham and Edna Williams Graham. Pauline was proceeded in death by her parents; her husband, Thomas Parks Griffin; her brothers, John Edward Graham, and Olive Franklin Graham; and her grandson, Sean Michael Griffin. Pauline is survived by her son, Thomas Parks Griffin, JR. and his wife Betsy, of Suwanee; and her daughter, Polly Harrison and her husband Galen of Gainesville; her grandchildren, Kelly Peppers, Katie Driggers, Heather Stang and her husband Erik, Susan Canaday and her husband Trampas; great-grandchildren, Mitchell Driggers, Adain Driggers, Erin Peppers, Trey Peppers, Harrison Stang, Hayleigh Stang, Jaylee Canaday, Fisher Canaday, and Scarlett Griffin; great-great-grandchild, Evelynn Driggers. Including many nieces and nephews.
Pauline was a wonderful Christian woman and a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. She retired from Sears and then did the things she loved the most. She loved working in her yard and gardens as well as spending time with family in the North Georgia mountains, camping and trout fishing.
