Homer Thomas Adams, age 90
Homer lived in Murrayville his entire life within 3 miles of the log cabin where he was born. He went to glory at sunrise on October 1, 2019.
He was preceded in death by his wife Lenora Adams; son Douglas Adams; mother and father Harriette Adams and Frank Adams and his brothers, Francis and Colonel Adams.
He is survived by his daughter Shirley Adams; granddaughters Lora Taylor and Catlyn Jacobs; his grandson Jason Smith. David Gravitt. His son Wayne Adams, daughter-in-law Lynn Adams; grandsons, Matt Osani and David Osani; and great-grandson Waylon Osani. His grandson Doug Adams and his wife Kelly; his great-granddaughters, Maggie and Millie Adams. His granddaughter Dana Hallman; grandson Henry Miller, great-grandson, Brian Hallman; great-granddaughters, Bailey Hallman and EllaNora Miller.
He counted Lenora’s family as his own and loved them all dearly. Alma, Judy, Joann, Amy, and many others.
Homer was a lifelong member of Wahoo Baptist Church, he was a deacon there.
Visitation with the family is Thursday, October 3, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Strickland Funeral Home, Clermont Ga. The funeral service will be Friday, October 4, 2019, at 2:00 p.m., Strickland Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow the service at Wahoo Baptist Church Cemetery.
