James Edward Buchanan Jr., 75, of Clermont, Georgia, died on Friday, October 16, 2026. A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 20, 2026. Mr. Jon Snelling, Mr. Roy Hardy, and James’ daughter Jill Buchanan-Louney will officiate the service. Interment will follow the service in Concord Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Monday, October 19, 2026.
James is survived by his wife, Ginger Buchanan; his children, Jamie Buchanan (Heidi), Jill Buchanan-Louney (Dan); his grandchildren, McKenzie Buchanan, Andrew Buchanan, Beckam Louney, and Brinkley Louney; his sisters, Brenda Gibbs (Don), and Shirley (“Buckie”) Sasser. W. R. Strickland & Sons, Clermont, Georgia.
