Janet Whelchel Hulsey

Funeral services for Janette Whelchel Hulsey age 84, of Clermont, Ga. will be held Thursday, May 24, at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church. Interment will be at New Bridge Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Bryan Funderburk and Mr. Chase Hulsey will officiate. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 23, at 3:00-5:00 p.m. and 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Strickland Funeral Home.

Mrs. Hulsey died Monday, May 21, 2018, at Grady Hospital. She was employed with the Gainesville City School System as a Financial Director. She was preceded in death by her parents, Claude A. Whelchel and Eva Waters, son, Tommy Daryl Hulsey. She is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Angie Hulsey, son Phil Hulsey, grandsons, Chad and Brooke Hulsey, Chase and Elizabeth Hulsey, Zach and Paige Hulsey and Ryan Hulsey, great-grandsons, Cameron Hulsey, Asher Hulsey and Jackson Crumley, great-granddaughters, Avery Hulsey and Bailey Crumley. Also, very special friends, Roger and Linda Fitzpatrick.
