John Allen Atkinson
December 30, 1944 — May 13, 2022
John Allen Atkinson, 77, of Gainesville, Ga., died on Friday, May 13, 2022. A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Sunday, May 22, 2022, at Hopewell United Methodist Church Cemetery. Reverend Chris Strickland will officiate the service. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, May 22, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
Mr. Atkinson is survived by his wife Jacqueline Anne Atkinson; his daughter Jessica Lynn Jones (Scott); his sister Barbara Leonhart; his stepson Robert T. Benson (Angela); his stepdaughter Heather C. Cuthbertson (Jim); his grandsons Nicolas J. Atkinson and Nevan G. Jones. Several other grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and beloved nieces and nephews. W. R. Strickland & Sons, Clermont, Ga.
