In Loving Memory of Mitchell Lee Gibbs
It is with deep sorrow and broken hearts that we announce the passing of Mitchell Lee Gibbs, age 36, a beloved husband, loving father, devoted son, cherished brother, and treasured uncle.
Mitchell was a man who held a special place in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. He was a goofy, loving soul with a smile that could light up a room and a spirit that left a lasting impression on those around him. He had a way of bringing laughter and joy into the lives of others, and his presence was one that will never be forgotten.
An avid outdoorsman, Mitchell found happiness in the things he loved most, especially hunting, fishing, and spending time doing what made him feel alive. He had a love for life and embraced each day he was given. Whether he was enjoying the outdoors, making memories with his family, or simply sharing a laugh with those around him, Mitchell had a way of making ordinary moments special. The memories made with him will be treasured forever.
As a husband, he was a partner in life, a source of love, and someone with whom memories were made and dreams were shared. As a father, he was a blessing to his children, whose lives will forever be shaped by the love he gave them. As a son and brother, he was a treasured part of his family. As an uncle, he held a special place in the lives of his nieces and nephews. His love for his family was part of the legacy he leaves behind, and his absence leaves an emptiness that words cannot begin to describe.
Family meant so much, and the love Mitchell shared with those closest to him will never be forgotten. His life was filled with moments of laughter, love, lessons, and togetherness. Though no words can ease the pain of losing him, the memories he leaves behind will forever be held close to the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
His passing leaves a void that can never truly be filled. There will be days when his absence is felt more deeply than words can express, moments when his family wishes they could hear his voice one more time, see that familiar smile, share one more laugh, or simply have one more day together. Yet, through every tear and every memory, his love will continue to live on.
Though Mitchell’s time here may have ended, the love he gave and the joy he brought to others will never end. He will live on through his children, his wife, his parents, his siblings, his nieces and nephews, and every person whose life he touched. His memory will remain a reminder to cherish the people we love, find joy in the little things, embrace the days we are given, and never take for granted the moments that make life beautiful.
He may be gone from our sight, but he will never be gone from our hearts. Until the day we meet again, he will be loved beyond words, missed beyond measure, and remembered forever.
Rest peacefully, Mitchell. May you find endless open skies, peaceful waters, and all the beauty of the outdoors you loved so much. Your smile, your laughter, your goofy spirit, and your love will remain our strength and our treasure. You will forever hold a place in our hearts.
Mitchell is survived by his beloved wife, Shana Gibbs, and their children, Memphis Gibbs and Rylynn Gibbs.
He is also survived by his parents, Michael and Loretta Gibbs, and Darlene and Brad Redmond; his sisters, Julia Roper and her husband, Jacob; Heather Webb and her husband, JT; Maddison Hart and her husband, Clayton; and Katelin Redmond; his brother-in-law, Zack Lamb and his wife, Tasha; and his sister-in-law, Tabitha Lamb.
