Funeral services are scheduled for Monnie M. DeVenny, age 87 of Gainesville at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at Concord Baptist Church. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 14, 2014 from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home. The Rev. James Dollar will officiate. Mrs. DeVenny died Sunday, January 12, 2014 at her residence. She was a member of Concord Baptist Church. She is survived by her son and daughter in-law, Dave and Judy DeVenny of Gainesville; sister, Margaret Cox, two brothers, George and Douglas Sinquefield and two grandchildren.
