Ronald "Ronnie" Gregory Adams

Ronald Gregory Adams, age 76, of Murrayville, Georgia, passed away peacefully at his home on September 9 , 2026, following an extended illness. Ronald was a man of faith and longtime member of Wahoo Baptist Church. He proudly served his country in the United States Army as a motor transport specialist during the Vietnam era, stationed in Germany and the Netherlands.

Ronald was a hardworking man who took great joy in providing for his family and was rarely seen without a project to work on. He especially enjoyed restoring his antique Ford Falcon and spending time working with his hands. Throughout his working life, he utilized his technical talents as a machinist and a truck driver. Later in life, he served his community as a school bus driver for special needs students.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ray B. and Geraldine Adams; his sister, Lee Ann Stump; and his in-laws, Reverend Edward and Sarah Butler.

He is survived by his loving wife, Shielda; his two sons, Nathan Adams (Suzanne) and Will Adams; his grandchildren, Evan Adams, Jonathan Adams, Reagan Adams, and Megan Adams; and his sisters, Cindy Pethel (Randy) and Teresa Mullis (Ricky).

The family invites friends and loved ones to join them for visitation on Sunday, September 13, from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. at Wahoo Baptist Church. A celebration of Ronald’s life will follow at 2:30 p.m., with Reverend Howard Payne and Reverend Mark Stroud officiating. Interment will follow at Wahoo Baptist Church Cemetery, where Reverend Kevin Holman will lead the graveside service. W. R. Strickland & Sons, Clermont Georgia.
