Funeral services for, Roy Dean Holtzclaw age 91 of Gainesville, will be held Monday November 24, 2014 in Strickland Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Henry Loggins will officiate. Visitation will be held Monday November 24, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. to service time. Interment will be Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery Mr. Holtzclaw died Friday at Northeast Georgia Medical Center. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, he was a member of The Wesley Chapel Methodist Church. Mr. Holtzclaw is survived by his daughters, Jean Foster of Cleveland, Sherry Shook of Murrayville, Gail Shope of Oakwood, his son, Danny Holtzclaw of Gainesville. Two sisters, Helen Burt and Grace Greenway, his brother, Terrell Holtzclaw all of Dahlonega.His close companion Precious. The family wishes to thank the Gateway Nursing Home for their kindness.
