Virginia Sara Elliott

Mrs. Virginia Sara Elliott, age 89, of Murrayville, passed away on Saturday, April 20, 2018.  Funeral services will be held on Sunday, April 22, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at Wahoo Baptist Church.  Rev. Ricky Stone, Rev. Charles Buice and Rev. Mark McClain will officiate.  Interment will follow the service in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 21, 2018, from 4-8 p.m. at Strickland Funeral Home in Clermont, Ga.

Mrs. Elliott was born on October 31, 1928 in Clermont, Ga., to the late Boyd and Elsie Ingram Thomas.  Mrs. Elliott is preceded in death by her first husband Ervin Payne, and her brother Larry Thompson.  Mrs. Elliott is survived by her husband Claydean Elliott and by her daughters Teddie Grizzle and Tammy Hatfield.  She is also survived by 11 Grandchildren and 11 Great-Grandchildren.
