William A. Royal, III

William A. Royal, lll age 68 of Gainesville, Ga. died July 3, 2015 at his residence after an extended illness. Funeral services will be held  Monday at 2:00 pm July 6, 2015 in the chapel of the First United Methodist Church. The Dr. Hugh Cauthen will officiate  Visitation will be at the funeral home on Sunday July 5, 2015 from 5 to 7  pm. Mr. Royal was a native of San Diego California, he served in the Air Force during Vietnam.  He held associates degrees in horticulture and was a certified French chef, he was a member  of the Culinary Institute of America.  He loved building model railroads. He at one time worked for McDonald-Douglas and his name is on the shuttle left on the moon. He is survived by his wife, Kathryn Royal and his sister, Evelyn Ireton.   Strickland funeral Home, Clermont.
